CONCEPT MAP OF THE CD / CDD

The aim of this second evidence is to build a concept map where which represents, from my personal perspective, the Teacher's Digital Competence. All the contents included are related to my personal experience, as well as to the learning that I have made until now (October). 

The creation and design of my Concept Map has been made with CMapTools, a specific application for the construction of concept maps used in the educational field worldwide. 

Furthermore, while developing my CM, I have been working on some dimensions and descriptors of the Teacher's Digital Competence (TDC):

  • Design, planning and didactic implementation, as I have used digital technologies as a resource and strategy in a teaching and learning process. 
  • Organization and management of School environment and digital resources, as I have taken into account the knowledge and compliance to the norms of use of the resources, infrastructures and digital platforms.
  • Ethical and digital citizenship, because I have been using the digital technologies responsibly, safely and healthily.

  • Professional development, as I have created content and educational resources in digital format and I have participated in professional development activities in the field of digital competence. 


As it can be appreciated in the picture, I designed a colorful concept map to make it more visual, as well as to add a special meaning to each color. In order to make it easier to understand, I have created a key to relate each of them to its meaning.

CONCLUSIONS (E2)

As a result of creating a Concept Map about my own perspective of the Teacher's Digital Competence, I have taken consciousness about my knowledge related to digital technologies, as well as about the things that I can do in order to improve some aspects. 

Finally, I want to say that I would like to redo this CM some years later in order to check what I have learned through teaching experience and if there is still something that could be improved.
