TARGET

The following points of the target show at what level I was at the beginning of the subject in regard to the following objectives, taking into account that the outermost circle means 1 and the inner circle 9. 

I hope that at the end of the course the points have moved to the interior! 

  • D1 - Design, planning and didactic implementation

In this dimension, I have placed myself in the 6th circle because when I become a teacher I want to foster the use digital technologies both inside and outside the classroom. However, I believe that I still have a lot to learn about its implementation and how to plan an organize those activities.

  • D2 - Organisation and management of School environment and educational resources

Even though I think have the ability to organize and manage digital technologies responsibly and sustainably facilitating and improving working conditions, I still do not know how exactly will I check if my students are also being so responsible.

  • D3 - Communication and collaboration

I think I have good communication skills, that is why I have positioned myself in the 4th circle. The use of digital tools to build a collaborative and well-communicated environment between teachers and students is very useful and it also promotes an active participation among all the school members.

  • D4 - Ethical and digital citizenship

Hiding behind a screen can easily lead to several issues, such as disrespecting others. Moreover, there are some legality issues that may not be known by most of our students and it is our job to warn them about the consequences that their actions can have.

  • D5 - Professional development

I think I still have a lot to learn about this dimension, but I believe that digital technologies are a really useful way to share professional and educational resources, for both students and teachers.

CONCLUSIONS

To conclude, considering that by the end of this subject I will be able to check my personal development regarding digital technologies, I believe that the target has been a useful way to do so. In some months time, I will look at this task again to check my progress.
